Backstreet’s Back was the Backstreet Boys second international album released on August 11, 1997. The album was released in Canada, Europe, Asia, South America and other countries. The album was not released in the US. Recording of the album started in 1996. It’s been said that the first song recorded was a P.M. Dawn remake of Set Adrift On Memory Bliss as well as the song If You Stay. Which ended up on the soundtrack to the movie Booty Call. According to their official site at the time, the guys spent Spring of 1997 recording the album. From April 21-24 and May 11-24.
