Emilia Fan Projects

Over the years the Boys, for many of us, have been there for us through their music whether they knew it or not. Not many fans are able to tell Nick or any of the Boys just how much their music, etc has helped them over the years, unlike I have been able to in the past few years. So, with that in mind, I decided to start a project for Nick’s birthday in January allowing you to do just that.

Submit a message (nothing too long) to thank Nick for anything you want. You can tell him how much he’s inspired you or has helped you during tough times, whether it was through his book, his music, etc. If it’s something too personal and you don’t want others to read it you don’t have to submit it. Did Nick visit your city on his All American tour and you met him? You can write about that as well. Anything you’d like tell Nick is fine and don’t forget to wish him a Happy Birthday. Also, include your name and Twitter (if you have an account). Do not submit anything vulgar as I will not except that.

The following is optional. If you met Nick during his All American tour this year and would like to include your meet and greet photo you can. Just head over to Nick’s website NickCarter.net/media/photos, find your VIP photo (from his show or lunch event) and send me the link to it. That way I can use a high quality photo for the project. In the past I’ve had people submit small or low quality photos that’s not easy to work with. For anyone who didn’t meet Nick during his tour, but have done a meet and greet with him in the past few years you can send that photo as well. Just find your photo on Nick’s website and include the link to it. Should you have a photo taken with Nick that’s not on his website you can send that as well. Just make sure it’s in good quality.

Submit a email to emilia@kaos-online.net with the subject Birthday Project 2017. I will reply letting you know I recieved your message.

Deadline for the messages is January 20th. Please note this may change depending on how much time I need to put everything together. 🙂

Nick’s All American ended in November and one of the opening acts Dan Talevski spoke about the tour.

In September, Talevski’s agent got a call about Nick Carter doing an All Canadian Tour from Nov. 8 until Nov. 24, and his team wanted Talevski to audition for an opening act.

“I had it in my head that I was doing it already,” Talevski said of his attitude before the approval. “I knew I had a 50/50 shot, and then I got a call a couple days later and they said I was approved and he wanted me on.”

After some rehearsals in Toronto, the tour started and so did a grueling schedule.

The teams started in North Bay and most days, interviews at local television channels and radio stations would call Talevski back to Toronto for a call time at 4 a.m. After he arrived, the stations would do a sound check, and finally Talevski could sing — almost four hours after his arrival.

“It was the most gruelling schedule,” he said. “It was really hard sometimes, but it was worth it.”

The tour took Talevski and his band from North Bay to Edmonton, Winnipeg and into British Columbia all in a minivan. At the end of the trip, Talevski estimates they spent over 80 hours in a car.

According to the agents of every venue the team performed at, Talevski’s performance stole the show.

“Nick (Carter) has been in the game for 20 years,” Talevski said. “And we stole the show out of every venue.”

Back in 2010, Talevski opened for the Backstreet Boys during their reunion tour. To Talevski’s surprise, Nick Carter remembered him and offered him advice on his performance.

“Nick Carter himself was always giving me tidbits on how to work the stage and interact with fans,” he said. “It makes sense why he’s a star. In the moment, seeing him, you start to understand.”

Emilia Updates

We’re near the end of the 2016 and I wanted to take the time to write something to the Backstreet Army.

As most BSB fans know I’ve had Kaos Online for 10 years and the one thing that keeps me going after all these years is all of the fans support for me, my site and all that I do to help the BSB Army stay informed on our favorite Boys. Throughout the year, many of you have sent me messages of gratitude and appreciation for everything that I do. Your words and your kindness are something that I appreciate very much and it makes me happy to know that I am able to help fans. I know I probably said this several times before and I do mean it. Especially this year when there were times when I doubted myself over a few things. I think we all have those kind of days where we feel this way at times. When I receive your tweets and messages you brighten up my day. You give me a reason to keep doing what I do to help everyone. Whether it’s during the pre sales, just to share news, answer your questions or anything else. While I may not know many of you reading this and you may or may not have sent me a message or anything, but I’m thankful to each and everyone of you who follows on Twitter and likes/follows on Facebook.

Thank you again for everything this year. Thank you for your continuous support of me and my website. Have Happy Holiday and a Happy New Year! Wishing everyone all the best for the upcoming year. 🙂
