EXCLUSIVE: Backstreet Boys dish on Cher and Miley Cyrus joining new film, working together and BSB/*NSYNC cruise – exclusive by Leena Tailor (Twitter: @LeenaNZ)

Cher and Miley Cyrus are the latest pop-stars tapped to joined Backstreet Boy Nick Carter’s zombie horror “Dead 7?.

In what’s shaping up to be the so-bizarre-it’s-hilarious TV flick of 2016, Nick and wife Lauren’s team are in talks with reps of both artists to join the crowd-funded film.

“There’s a possibility that Cher could be in the movie as the main villain,” Lauren tells Moviehole. “It’s not for sure but there’s talk. Miley Cyrus we’re reaching out to as well.”

Being produced by The Asylum (the guys who brought us Sharknado and Z Nation), the movie will commence filming in Los Angeles, and possibly Alaska, next month and Cher and Miley would join an ever-growing celebrity roll call.

With bandmates AJ McLean and Howie Dorough and actor Devon Sawa already signed up, Nick is also dispelling ancient boy band myths by hiring Joey Fatone from *NSYNC.

“The wish-list of people I want is music-based and I want it to be a unique mix,” says Nick, who has also reached out via Twitter to Sisqó, One Direction’s Niall Horan and his favourite Spice Girl Mel B.

Buzzfeed has made a list of the winners and losers of Comic-Con. How did they rank Nick and AJ? They’re winners! Here’s what they wrote about them and their movie. Buzzfeed let us remind you that Nick and AJ aren’t former boy banders. Backstreet Boys are still around.

The former Backstreet Boys and NSYNC boy banders are teaming up to make a zombie horror Western movie together, with Nick Carter at the helm. And the three just seem to be having so much fun with it — their excitement is contagious. They were all for talking about their rumored rivalry back in the ’90s, awkwardly saying hi to one another at the MTV Movie Awards, and proving they can still nail those harmonies. “Think about it,” Nick said. “Boy banders, people from the late ’90s who you love, fighting zombies in a postapocalyptic world. Pretty crazy, right?” Definitely, but also really fun. —KF

Emilia Site Updates

Today is Kaos Online’s 9th anniversary! 9 years ago today I launced my site on Nick and to this day I still enjoy running the site. When I launched the site I had only made it to show my support to Nick and BSB. To share news for whoever visited. Then as years passed and so many fans sent comments telling me how much the appreciate the site and everything I do on it. Even when I decided to do a little April Fool’s prank this year and mentioned I’d be closing the site I got so many messages and emails from fans who didn’t want me to close the site. How it would be a shame to lose the site. I never knew how important the site could be not only to Nick but to fans all over the world until I got these messages. This is why I’ve kept it for so long even if there were times where I didn’t have the motivation to continue running it or when I was stressed out and not feeling like myself recently. It’s because of the wonderful fans I’ve met and friends I’ve made in the Backstreet Army who have visited my site for 9 years. Followed the Twitter page, liked us on Facebook and so on. So, thank you guys for supporting my site after all these years.

Of course I can’t forget thanking the one person this site is about. Nick. Thank you Nick for everything over the last 3 years. From hiring me to update your site. Which I’m hoping we can get your site more active! The shout outs in the chats, the meet & greet last October and so on. I made this site never knowing if you’d ever visit and you have. I still remember the day I logged onto MySpace and seeing you joined the group I had for this site. That was one of the first times I knew you had visited my site. Thank you for inspiring me to continue my passion in running sites and in so many different ways.

To celebrate the 9th anniversary here’s a look back at the various layouts from over the years. I don’t have designs from when I actually launched the site but this is most of the layouts I’ve had since December 2006 when I got the Kaos Online domain. View the photo on our Instagram.
